Kuopio Puolimaraton

The Kuopio Puolimaraton is one of Finland’s most picturesque half marathons, taking place in the lake-filled landscapes of Northern Savonia. The course follows beautiful waterfront trails, forested paths, and scenic bridges, making it one of the most tranquil and visually stunning races in Scandinavia.
The event is known for its well-organized setup, enthusiastic volunteers, and strong community feel. Though the terrain is mostly flat, occasional rolling hills provide a mild challenge. Many runners come for the scenery and stay for the warm Finnish hospitality, with post-race celebrations often featuring traditional Finnish saunas and local delicacies.
