Can you run half-naked in the cold January air? While we certainly don t expect this of everyone, this stripped down format for the race was tied to its humble beginnings, and it has evolved and grown since then. All half marathon finishers will receive a finisher medal. All quarter and half marathon runners will receive a long-sleeve t-shirt! It is quite the accomplishment to complete a HALF MARATHON! This year, both the half and quarter marathons WILL BE CHIP TIMED! The half marathon course is certified and will count as an official time. AGE GROUP awards will be given for BOTH races (distributed by 10-year age group). 13.1 mile out and back course Course closes at 11 a.m. Anyone on the course after this time is on their own. A $3.00 discount for Anniston Runners Club and Gadsden Runners Club members. Discount does not apply towards Fab Four Series Bundle price.
