So come join us and earn your 14th anniversary Hokie Bird finisher medal. We have live bands, beautiful scenery, terrific race support, and some awesome race swag! Race Info You can register for the 2026 Hokie Half Marathon & 5k on this website or by mailing a hard copy form to RunAbout Sports. The Hokie Half Marathon is limited to 2000 participants and the Hokie 5K is limited to 500 runners and walkers. Race Start Time: 7:30 am for the half marathon and 8:00 am for 5K. The average temperature at the start time: 55 degrees. The average temperature at 10 am: 61 degrees. Registration Fees Online Registration Closes 09/18/26 at 7pm. Paper forms will be accepted until 8 pm on 9/19/2026 at packet pickup at the University Mall. Hokie Half Marathon Price Level One: $89 Before 8/14/2026 (deadline is 11:59 pm August 13th) Price Level Two: $98 8/14/2026 - 9/14/2026 (deadline is 11:59 pm Sept. 14th) Price Level Three: $110 9/15/2026 - 9/19/2026 (no race day registration) Hokie Half No-Frills Option - Only receive Hokie Bird Finisher Medal and finish line food.
