High Tide Runs has made it to The Valley! THE Valley. The one and only The Valley. Now...let s represent the 818 with an amazing event of community and running! Race Details Location: Woodley Park, 6076 Woodley Ave, Encino, CA Parking: Free parking in the lot; more is available on Woodley Ave Event Schedule 6:20am – Bib pick-up opens 7:00am – Half marathon & 10k start 7:30am – 5k start 7:35am – Registration & start line close 10:20am – Course closes (3 hours, 20 minutes for the Half) Early start of 6:30am may be pre-arranged for half marathoners, email your request to events hightideruns.com. All early starters will not be eligible for awards. Courses 5k route: Runners do one loop – route here 10k route: Runners do two loops - route here Half Marathon: Runners do two loops plus the 10k route – route here More about the Course The race routes go across the grass, under the road through a tunnel, and enter the park. The 5k loops the lake and returns. The 10k and half head to the other side of the park, going under the bridge, and then journey back along a different path. Our courses are on open paths so please be considerate of other park users! On-Course Support Multiple water stations are located along the routes. The finish line will also have an aid station stocked with water, electrolytes, and other snacks. We have a first aid kit at each station and all High Tides Crew Members have received CPR training. The turns are clearly marked with chalk and runner turn signs Final Details Bib: Please wear your race bib on the front of your shirt so we can track your time and send your pics! Gear Check: You may leave personal items with staff at the registration tent. Please bring your own bag. Awards: All finishers earn a race medal. 1st place medals are given to the overall 1st male and female in each distance.
